📈 Brazilian Cotton Exports and Processing on the Rise
This week’s report compares Brazil’s cotton exports and processing by crop year, highlighting strong performance between August and September 2025.
By the third week of October, Brazil had already exported 172.2 thousand tons of cotton, maintaining a solid export pace. The 24/25 crop processing reached around 60%, which is 7.4% lower than the same period last season.
Among Brazil’s top export destinations, China and Pakistan lead cotton imports during the analyzed period. The data, based on Abrapa and MDIC sources, reflect the most recent updates in the sector.
