Laferlins Weekly Report – October 31, 2025

This week’s report provides a detailed overview of Brazil’s cotton market. Brazilian exports in October reached 255 thousand tons, reinforcing the country’s strong presence among the world’s top cotton exporters.

Processing for the 24/25 crop reached approximately 64%, which is 10% lower than the same period last season, according to Abrapa and MDIC data.

In the futures market, the Z25 contract fluctuated between 63.74 c/lb and 66.01 c/lb, while Z26 once again reached 69.00 c/lb, based on Barcharts data.
